There will be a celebration of Marshal Andy's 95th birthday on Thursday July 25th at Barley's Taproom & Pizzaria at 6pm. Barley's is located in the Old City at 200 East Jackson Ave.

I know Ottway & Deadeye but do not recall Hiwall Johnson. I only shot at the TAC2 range in Moshiem twice. It's sad to see local area SASS pioneers passing. Condolences to Hiwall's family, friends & cowboy pards.

Spoke with Longshot Luther yesterday. The sawbonz couldn't identify the reason for the episode on the range last month. Luther is doing well but taking life at a slower pace and taking time to evaluate his priorities. I hope we will see him back on the range in the future. Best wishes amigo,

Update: 04-19-24

Major Kettle Hill's wife Patti is still having a difficult time with very low BP. Besides feeling tired, a medical procedure has been postponed awaiting normalized BP. Keep them in your thoughts & prayers.

Howdy,

Nice day to be a cowboy (no cowgirls were present). Enjoyed the match and visiting with folks before & after the shooting. Thanks to Long Gulch for leading the posse of 15 cowboys. Copperhead Joe made an appearance to clean the cobwebs out of his guns. Almost everyone seemed a little off their game today except Napa Sidewinder, the only clean match shooter. There were two visitors, Tim & Dan, having a gander at CAS. All the fun wouldn't have been possible without the stages written by Anita Margarita & the setup posse, thanks. Hope we have as good a day on Saturday.

Cherokee Deacon aka Roy Reed passed last evening 02/14/24 at 6:51pm. Cherokee Deacon was a member of the Greene County Regulators for many years. Deacon was Ramrod/President of the Regulators and a hard worker keeping the range mowed until his health declined. Rest in Peace & may God bless and comfort your wife & friends.
