Hawkeye was on fire today - clean and smooth!  It was a beautiful day to shoot and good to see you all out there.

It was a fantastic day to be outside.  And with a posse of 20, we were outside for a while!

Thanks to Steely, Longshot Luther, El Carrera and Turkey Creek Vic for volunteering to run the timer!  You all did a great job in spite of a few unusual situations.

I had a blast and my prediction came true. My plan to shoulder the shotgun lasted one shot on the first stage which missed. So everything went back to the hip. Not sure if I said it out loud but in my head I said "to heck with that" after the miss. . Congratulations Jackalope and the clean shooters. What a great bunch of people to spend a day shooting with.
