I agree 100%, most amazing sight I have seen. Already planning on going to T-Bones Bar 3 ranch for the next one in 2024.

Yes indeed, a special moment in time. Was really neat how the temps cooled down and lights with sensors turned on. The eastern horizon looked awesome as well. Great party in Athens but the 2-1/2 hour ride home was terrible. Bumper to bumper for 50 miles. Why does traffic move at such an erratic pace. Especially annoying when driving a stick shifter pickup.

It was truly impressive.  We had our daughter and husband down coincidentally for a visit, made it even more special.  Though I grasp the mechanics of an eclipse, the real thing, in real time, blew us away.

I may be headed to Texas too Tombstone in order to catch the next one.
