Map of Covid-19 and related data
« on: May 13, 2020, 11:58:49 AM »
I came across this excellent interactive map showing all sorts of data related to the virus. You can zoom in and see county-by-county the cases, deaths, testing, hospital capabilities, vulnerable populations (like prisons), etc.  I've seen many maps lately, but this is the best one so far:

Thanks for posting this Anita. You can really find out what is going on around the country.

That is a cool map!

I'll contribute another one. It is not a CoViD map, it is an early indicator.

There is a company called Kinsa which makes a thermometer for home use. It is bluetooth enabled and connects to a phone app, which then uploads data to a server. A lot of people have bought them across the country.

Kinsa anonymizes the data and provides it to Oregon State University which maps it. So far, it has served well showing increases in fever some days before CoViD cases are diagnosed. It also clearly shows the lockdown has reduced "Influenza Like Illness" nationwide.

You can drill down to the county level on that map:
