March Match Predictions

I predict...

1.)  Five stages plus a side match.  Total ammo count is 50 rifle, 55 handgun, and 20+ shotgun.

2.)  Weather will be dry and partly cloudy.

3.)  You will benefit from reviewing SASS rules regarding movement with a rifle.

     A rifle is considered SAFE for movement (in hand, while moving through a stage) in the following condition only:
          - Hammer fully down on an empty chamber or expended round, action closed.
          - Action open, round on carrier or in chamber.

To help with that rule here ii is from the Shooters Hand Book

4) For the side match, you may want to sight-in your pistols as it will be very helpful to know where they hit.

5.)  Since it's almost March 14th, we can expect to see the annual Pi sweep!  (In order to keep the ammo count something less than infinity, the sweep will be rounded to 3-1-4-2.)

6.)  We'll learn how something as innocent as a rainbow can start a gunfight.

8.)  On one stage, you will have the option to engage handgun targets up close...or you can try your hand from a little farther away.
