Thursday long range shoot

Going to have this month long range shoot thursday( tomorrow night ) at six pm. I have gotten input from several of the long range shooters on what is the best day to have the shoot in the future. Seems the over all consensus is to have tHe shoot after the setup on Sundays. I think that will save driving for some of the long rangers and perhaps get some more shooters to join in. 

 So next month we will have the shoot on Sunday after the setup.
Hope this change will get more long rangers to shoot. And remember recoil rules.

The other advantage of Sunday afternoon is that, as the days get shorter, weekday evenings would not be possible.

Is the long range shoot still on for Sunday after setup? Sept. 2nd. Been looking at SPRINGFIELD 45/70 on gun broker. Anyone have one?

Last I spoke with Maddog we are good to go on Sunday afternoon.  Hopefully he will confirm here for us.

I don't have a Springfield 45-70 but I will bring my Buffalo Classic 45-70 you are more than welcome to shoot.  I have some "gentle" loads made up too, well as gentle as can be, I'll give you that info on Sunday if you want.

We wear kilts actually.  Very good in hot weather

We have been shooting in our regular street clothes with maybe a hat or two among us for some authenticity.  So no is the answer, come as you are.
