Question for double barrel shooters
« on: December 02, 2019, 08:56:08 AM »
Does your double have a modification to make it open wider than standard?
Also has it had anything done to help keep it open?

I've been using a TTN hammered double lately.  It opens huge with no modification.

I had been using a Baikal internal hammered double.  I installed Papa Dave's mod and it easily opens wide enough to load and dump shells.  Works great.

AM has a Baikal internal hammered double she bought used from Johnny Meadows.  I don't know what he did to it, but it opens really wide.

My Stoeger was modified to open wider. Nothing to help it stay open.

I also shoot a TTN hammered double. Opens wide. Don't think any modes done to it. I purchased it on gun broker.

I too have a TTN and it will spoil you.

I was hoping to get my browning to open a lttle further but haven't figured it out yet.

You might want to talk to Fast Eddie about what could possibly be done.
