What a sad day indeed.  He spoke to me about his life and what a great man he was.  MY thoughts echo all that has been said already.

Last year Preacher Red and now another Great man Lighting McCoy.  Both of please look down on us and keep us shooting straight.

I cannot tell you how much I will miss his ever-present smile and easy laugh. When I first saw this the Roger Miller song started playing in my head, ‘Hoppy’s Gone’. Maybe because it was written about another great Cowboy who always smiled and was quick to laugh.
