Well,

Tom B. Stone put on a show shooting Gunfighter "Outlaw" style. Good shooting pard. Anita, there sure were a lot of procedurals (12) and a fair amount of misses. But, this was a great day to be a Cowboy / Cowgirl. Thanks to all for a great day.

Stage 1 was a strange experience... 7 Ps for 20 shooters!  Why?

1) The early-morning cold air chilled our brains?
2) Emanations from the sewage treatment plant affected judgement?
3) Tuesday shooters "blow and go!" - P's be damned!
4) Sweeping the targets three times from the same direction seemed far too simple, so many chose to sweep back and forth in order to confuse themselves?   Bingo!!!

I don't really know how to explain the misses, but the targets were big and at a reasonable distance - same as we will be shooting this Saturday.  As for me? It is (sort of) excuse #3 as I do try to push myself and try new things on Tuesday matches.

Glad so many came out to shoot today!  20 shooters is a new record.  We will have to go to two posses soon if this keeps up.  Thank you Lightning McCoy and Tombstone for running the clock today.
