March Match Predictions

I predict...

1.)  Six stages on three bays.

2.)  No rain! (Maybe a flake or two...)

3.)  But you're gonna want a jacket.

4.)  No rifle or handgun knockdown targets.

5.)  No "bonus" targets.

6.)  You may want more than a jacket.

7.) I will have to find my Long Johns for this one.

8.) Snow looks purty flying off targets.

I predict a smallish crowd shooting

I predict there will be a crew willing to pick up targets as the shooters get finished with a stage.

I predict I will be part of the second group.

9.)  Four stages with some movement, two with one shooting position and no stages require rifle reloads.

10.)  Since this is March, there will be an obligatory St. Paddy's day story describing a gunfight.

11.)  There will be a Pi sweep on one stage.  No slide rule or calculator necessary.  Sweep targets from the left, 3-1-4-2.
Easy as Pi.

12.)  Due to the forecast weather, I will be a little late for the match.  As much as one month late.

13.) I predict everyone will use their best judgment as to come to the match or not.
       There is always next month.

14.) there will probably be more at Tombstone's RO class on Sunday, if they remember to move the time up an                                               hour, than at the match.

Guys...as much as I looked forward to Madness in March...my poor ol' replaced heart valve doesn't care for the projected 29 degree forecast.  Hate to be a fair weather shooter but believe I'm taking a pass til better temps.

Yohan I will be there. I only live 30 miles from the range.
As far as anyone else? From what others are saying, it my be just me and you, if you decide to come.

Right now I am leaning towards coming on up from Chattanooga may even consider shortening it to 5 stages instead of 6 to stay out of the cold for a few :-) so what time do I need to be there?

I will be there if roads aren't too bad.

Looks like the roads are bad.
I would suggest not trying it unless you have 4 wheel drive.
We have about 5" of snow. Now

When do you want to take down steel? I can be there anytime today and I will be there tomorrow of course.
