Air travel with kit

I'm going to be flying to Texas and want to take the guns with me. Does anyone have experience with what kind of case might hold all of the guns without incurring the $200 over size penalty from the airline?

I will check with Unpleasant. He purchased one that the measurements add up to just under the maximum size. However, he has to brake down the shotgun and remove the stock from his rifle.

Thank you. I just found on that is "just under" the limit as well.
Now if I had just bought "sub nose" revolvers!

If you are taking ammo you need to check with the airline on what it allows. It may require specific packaging and or limit to the amount you can check.
