Passing of Cowboy

We lost another partner this week, Big AKA John Pirkle. Big was a large part of SMSS back in the day. He had not shot with us for quite some time but he was a good one.
Our thoughts are with Manya and his family and friends.

I really hate to hear it, he and I always enjoyed talking together and connected very well. He and I were from
the same area and spoke a lot about that. He was an SMSS original, I believe.
Best thoughts for his wife, I enjoyed talking with her also.

Big John Pirkle was larger than life. He was indeed an SMSS original

Sorry to learn about Big's passing. Visiting with him was always a pleasure. Only shot on a posse with him one time. It's been many years since I've seen him. May God bless & comfort his family.
