Last Kiss Update

[Fast Harley]

Wanted to let our Cowboy friends/family know that she finally had the long awaited outpatient
surgery and is doing reasonably well. A lot of pain and discomfort, but that was to be expected.
One hand is immobilized for six weeks, out of work for probably eight weeks, and rehab for six
months. She won't be shooting and probably won't be attending matches except maybe in good
weather.
Thanks for all the well wishes she's had already, and thanks in advance for all the good thoughts
I hope you will send her way.
As for me, I may be doing domestics, but I am not domesticated.

We sure hope her recovery goes well.  I did not know she was having surgery. Tell her we will miss her until she can come out and show us her new bionic thumb!

Last Friday L.K. got free of the big splint/cast, had the stiches out, and got a smaller splint/cast
she has to wear for another month full time, THEN another month only at night. It now is at least
removable for the shower.
Rehab starts in a few weeks.
Keep the good thoughts coming.

Well, Glad the recovery is on schedule and she is free of the original cast. Hope rehab will go well and we'll be at least seeing her visit a match.

Hope everything goes well. I am sure it's a big relief just to get a smaller cast.

Hopefully Kiss is recovered enough to hold an "adult beverage" after the shoot.  Harley would be happy to serve as the DD.  I will gladly buy Kiss a beverage just to see her again!

Today, she had the cast/splint removed after more than six weeks.  (Still another month at night.)
Therapy starts next Tuesday. Thanks for the good thoughts.

Very Good. Seems to be steady progress on the recovery. Best wishes on the PT ( pain & torture). Hoping all continues to be on schedule.

PS A fella can only take so much domestication. :-)
