Anita, I remember from our conversation about side by sides and ribbed shell casings - makes sense thanks for reminding me. I really enjoy my 97 Winchester pump however the more I think about it a side by side may be for me.
This is an interesting learning curve - but having fun!
As an example I'm still figuring out how to consistently put 5 rounds into my fancy new Vaqueros and have the cylinder "lock" on the empty chamber. Yes I'm using snap caps

Jackalope eluded to me the value of repetitive actions which makes perfect sense in this sport. If you have the loading process down your mind is effectively thinking about the firing line before you get there and you are more prepared. Just thinking aloud
