SENIOR MOMENT
« on: June 10, 2018, 12:30:10 PM »
EVER HAVE A SENIOR MOMENT??  I DID YESTERDAY!!  THE NIGHT BEFORE I PACKED MY "STAGECOACH" WITH MY CART, ALL MY GUNS, SHOT SHELLS, WATER BOTTLE, VITALS AND LAYED MY CLOTHES OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE SO I COULD GET AND EARLY START ON THE TRAIL TO THE RANGE.
GUESS WHAT!!!  I HAD A SENIOR MOMENT !! I LEFT MY BULLETS ON MY WORKBENCH THAT A LOADED THE NIGHT BEFORE !!  BUT TWO COWBOYS, RICO SUAVE AND LONG SHOT LUTHER CAME TO MY RESCUE.  EACH OFFERED ME .38 BULLETS TO USE FOR THE MATCH!!  TALK ABOUT WOW!!!!  THAT'S FELLOWSHIP AND THE "COWBOY WAY"!!

A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO YOU BOTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

RICO,I  HAVE YOUR SPENT CARTRIDGES AND UNUSED LIVE ROUNDS TO RETURN TO YOU.  WHAT GRAIN BULLETS DO YOU USE?  I'D LIKE TO REPLACE THOSE THAT I USED.

I'M PROUD TO BE PART OF SUCH A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE!!!
THANK YOU

We don't have senior moments Sam, we have let's think this through one more time moments.

Couple of shoots ago I had packed my truck the night before with what I thought was everything.   Morning of the shoot I was trundling down my country road doing a mental check list only to realize I had left my leather behind.

Figuring that pulling revolvers from my pants pocket would be frowned upon, I reversed course, re-entered the house to be met by the ever attentive wife who smiled and said "forget something?" as I grabbed my holster and gun belt.  Those closest to us often remind us of our fallabilties, however humbling it may be.

Rock on SASS.  We will fumble, pick each other up, and keep on shooting.  That's what makes us what we are.

Now that I've  thought this through I  still think the pollen is to blame.
