January 2019 Match Predictions

I predict...

1)  Six stages on three bays. 

2)  We'll learn how to judge a lady's mood just by looking at her hands.

3)  There will be rifle and handgun knockdown targets.

1)  Cloudy with afternoon rain/snowshowers.

2)  Temp of 44 degrees.

I predict the beer will be cold and so will the weather. Dont know who is buying yet but I have a feeling it will be me. I have not shot in about a month or longer.

Rusty and cold, got to be a good combination for a great match.

4)  The gate code will still(!) not work, but we will figure something out so that everyone can get in.

The way it seems to work is Jackalop gets free beer and we have to decide who buys it for him.

  , I'm sure we've all met at Wartrace over the years and of Jackalope schools us at state every year in FCGF. I just haven't ventured out to ORSA ever. I'm going to do my best to shoot a LOT more this year and 2nd Saturday is working out with mys son's basketball schedule for a couple more months. Hope the weather is decent and I can make this Saturday.

It might be good to know directions, or an address, to the new post match venue.

I need to know where to purchase Jackalope's beer, if I am the low man on the totem pole.

5)  There will be some beer and lunch after the shooting....but I don't know where.

6)  I expect we will figure something out.

7) Country Burrito, 10636 Hardin Valley Rd. next to the Breadbox & across the street from Don Gallos is a good possibility.

Country Burrito is a good option.  Went there after the Tuesday Shoot.  Good service, good food. And yes they do sell adult beverages.  Easy access to I-40 and back to Chattanooga Mongo.

9) Sheriff got new prescription spectacles. Hope is he will actually shoot a clean one this time instead of being one miss short!

I think Horse Doc mentioned a possibility or two Sunday, but I'm not sure if he had anything in particular in mind. 

I'm hoping we can find something suitable right in Oak Ridge.

10)  Sheriff Langston might be ahead of the game...you'll probably need to see your sights on one stage.

11)  One 'Free-style' stage.

12)  Being supportive of a friend's New Year's resolution may avoid a gunfight...or it might not.

13)  Widder will stay home where it's warm.

14)  A holdup isn't the only thing that can start a gunfight in the bank.

Remember how you could trip over the targets at Bordertown?  Stage Six is NOT Bordertown.

I was reading the TMM forum. They talk about stage improvements and guns. Oak Ridge seems hung up on beer...…….

What is the impression on a new prospective member?
